I spend a LOT of time on the computer, particularly editing videos and building websites, and both of which require a good deal of concentration. I often like to listen to music while doing these, but find that radio stations and my favorite rock music from itunes often ends up just being more of a distraction than its worth. Enter RelaxationSonics, the new collection from MettaSonics. RelaxationSonics is a collection of 6 discs, each a continuous hour of instrumental music that is PERFECT for coding and editing. This is calm, relaxing music that is subtle enough I can even keep it playing while I’m editing videos with dialogue. The soothing tones help keep my brain from getting friend by setting a nice, relaxing container for me to work in. Plus, as a bonus they’re excellent for reading and falling asleep to! My favorite track is definitely New Beginning!
