Along with my cohort Casey Capshaw, I’m utterly pleased to announce the launch of our first Attention Engine LLC project: SexyTie.com - Learn how to Tie a Tie the Sexy Way
We spent a lot of time over this summer brainstorming ideas that would take advantage of each of our talents, be lots of fun to make, give us business experience to learn from, and generate some cash on the side to support our world-centric lifestyles.
So here I present to you, our first SexyTie video: The Full Windsor Knot. At least 7 more knots will follow!
If you like it, please take the time to DIGG IT here, and rate it on metacafe.com here.

A short I shot for Stuart Davis back in May.
In other news my desktop died this morning. Or at least the RAIDed harddrives that were my system drive did…..power fluctuation killed um. Things I know I lost: All my music (though about 70% is now locked onto my ipod….will have to find a way to rip it off), photos of Martin’s Wedding in Germany, Europe Photos I think…….and god knows what else. (i kept waaaaaaay too much shit on my windows desktop)
t’ah well! it’s like i lost shit……..but i don’t even know what……though, ain’t that always the case?

That ones for you Lee. That was only about a 3 year edit. And like most things, the sequel didn’t quite live up to the original….

I think this was Film 151 with Geoffrey Dunn, Spring, Winter Quarter 2001. It was a group project that we were all pretty happy with in the end.
Next we have BAD, from Film 172 fall 2001. It was supposed to be something about ever-present awareness, though it obviously didn’t really work and I was a little lost trying to articulate it. Lesson learned. The 16mm footage looks fucking unbelievable full res though, so while the story didn’t work the shooting did. (except for that horrendous font i used at the end)
And finally, I’ve still got to sort through it all, but here’s a clip from u2 in Hawaii 2 weekends ago:

The resolution is terrible…but google video is just so damned convenient. This must have been fall of 1995 or spring of 1996, I don’t honestly remember. This baby would have been done with a Q-Motion 100 PCI capture card and a MONSTROUS 4g A/V harddrive.
Sameer Bawa is your host, with appearances by Ryan Doss and myself, Joe Imhoff may have helped out too…
