We spent a lot of time over this summer brainstorming ideas that would take advantage of each of our talents, be lots of fun to make, give us business experience to learn from, and generate some cash on the side to support our world-centric lifestyles.
So here I present to you, our first SexyTie video: The Full Windsor Knot. At least 7 more knots will follow!
Instead of planning out mega huge massive sites that cover everything, I’ve launched both SantaCruzTraveler.com and BoulderTraveler.com blog style. While not as fancy, this format allows me to start adding stuff as I go whenever I can. If anyone is interested in doing some write ups of restaurants, things to do, anything travel related let me know, I might even pay you, though it won’t be much!

one day i’m going to take a trip and manage to fly both ways without delays.
this time, 7:00 became 8:15 which is now 8:40 which better damn well stay that way, as the last public means to get from denver to boulder tonight leaves at 12:10am, and I really really don’t want to spend the fucking night in the airport.
So Vegas, Santa Cruz, and San Francisco (despite all the fog) were fantastic. It was a long, at one point stressful trip, but tons of fun in the end. It was great reconnecting with the old gang, getting to know some others a bit more, and watching tons of Scrubs!
Special thanks yet again to Dan & Melinda for helping making this trip a possibility by giving me a bed to sleep in and for hauling my ass around town.
to katie/brian, kevin, daniel, ryan, kerrie, jen, claire, crotchathan, margaret, mike, and julia……good times!
Some Photos (for some reason I didn’t take a single vegas photo….LOOOOOSER)
I shot a ton of photos of Santa Cruz for a website I’m working on. If anyone has any particularly good or memorable pictures of SC, (the beach, pacific avenue, campus, hiking, wine tasting, etc) please send them my way.

Seth’s bachelor party was a complete success. Despite the rain, soggeyness, alternating cold/hotness of the trip, and realization that I’m way way out of shape, I still had a fantastic time. The smokey mountains are gorgeous and we had a fantastic group of guys. Perfect blend of old people I knew and new people I’m now glad to know.
The flood of emails in my inbox when I got back was defintely a bit of a surprise; so I went into work as soon as I took a shower and was pretty successful in getting myself caught up.
The best email I got was definitely the one from a friend who was gracious enough to buy me Pearl Jam tickets for denver when they went on sale last friday morning. They’re playing with Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers both nights, so I was a bit scared they’d sell out fast. So I was very pleased to see that it all worked out and I got tickets to both nights in July. Fantastic.
It was definitely a long weekend, the span of time between catching the shuttle at 3:30 thursday morning and getting back to my house today at noon felt like far more than 4 days. I think that’s what I like about travelling though, it totally exposes the relative nature of time. Tonight I sleep in my Boulder bed, last night I slept in my Illinois bed, and 3 nights of various Tennesse beds before that.
